Conflict is Good

The goal of resolving conflict in a relationship is not victory or defeat. It's reaching understanding and letting go of our need to be right.

Conflict usually occurs when opposing beliefs and/or points of view converge. If handled the right way, a better way emerges. If handled the wrong way–nothing good ever happens.

Our world is in conflict like never before. Most of this is due to 24/7 opinionated news coverage and social media.

Everyone seems to have an opinion these days and we all know that opinions are like our hind ends–we all have one and they all stink.

What opinions are causing you to conflict with others?

Are you able to let go of the need to be right?

Are your opinions causing you to lose serenity?

These questions are for me as much as they are for you.
