No matter where you are in your faith walk, be thankful you have a God who will meet you right where you are.
If you are on the edge with this “Jesus thing” make a decision to jump in feet first and you will never regret it. There is no losing when you say yes to Jesus. I was on the edge for years and finally said “yes” out of desperation.
A walk with Jesus is a personal thing. It is a relationship, it is not a religion. It is a process, it is not an event.
Walking with Jesus will not make life easier, instead it will make the difficulties of life easier to handle.
Walking with Jesus will allow you to love during times the world tells you to hate.
Walking with Jesus will allow you to experience peace in the middle of storms and experience light when your whole world seems dark.
Twenty-four years ago I was using drugs around the clock just to stay out of withdrawal and wanted nothing to do with Christmas, God or Jesus. I had turned my back on Him after my second son was born multiply handicapped. In a moment of “weakness” when it was life or death, I turned back to God and he was right there to meet me and what an unbelievable ride the last 23 and 1/2 years have been.
What an awesome God we have. Take some time this day to thank Him for the greatest gift ever given to mankind, or maybe this is the day you “gift”God by turning back to him…he will be there waiting I guarantee it.
