One Decision

You're always one decision away from a totally different life.

Reflection

When I was battling addiction, I knew in my heart of hearts that I was an addict, but I didn’t want anyone else to know, so I was bound and determined I was going to kick the “habit” on my own.

Addiction isn’t a bad habit.

It is a disease.

I believe you all know me well enough that I have tremendous willpower. However, willpower conquers bad habits but has no chance of beating addiction disorder.

Thirty-five years ago, at this time, my “willpower” had led me to think the only way out of my situation was to take my own life.

Then I made a change.

After a very intense family intervention, I made a decision that forever changed my life and many others.

I sought help for my addiction disorder.

What changes do you know you need to make but can’t seem to take the first step into a new world?

If willpower isn’t working, maybe you need a coach or a counselor.

Whatever the case…life is short, and you are running out of life.

Straddling the fence and not changing what you know you need to change guarantees you three things:

1. You will not change.

2. You will miss out on the adventures of a new journey.

3. Your crotch will hurt!

Get off the fence today and make that change you are thinking about making.

Luke 1:37, “For nothing will be impossible with God.” (ESV)
