As most of you know our family was blessed with a special guy (Jordan) almost thirty years ago. For almost 11,000 days of my wife’s 20,000 days of living, she has given our special guy an amazing life through the sacrifice of her own. Throw on top of that raising two other well-rounded children and supporting a husband who ran a business and you witness a life that’s been well lived…I nominate Lori Meyer for sainthood!
What I’ve learned over the past (almost) thirty years of living, loving and caring for Jordan is that the quote above is absolute truth and although Jordan can’t repay us as the world would define “repay,” sacrificing for him has made our life rich beyond belief.
There is no bigger weapon to use on boredom and the pity pot than to get out of yourself and help someone in need…and there are a whole lot of people hurting and needing your help.
