Lifestyle

Habits are not a finish line to be crossed but a lifestyle to be lived.

— James Clear —

Have you ever tracked your actions throughout a day or a week?

  • Do you have a morning ritual?
  • Do you have an evening ritual?
  • Do you follow a healthy diet?
  • How many minutes a day do you get your heart rate into an aerobic zone?
  • How many minutes a day do you nourish and expand your brain by reading books, listening to podcasts, or watching educational videos?
  • How many minutes a day do you spend with your spirit and a Higher Power?

I’ve always had an unstable mental condition–conquering my addiction disorder taught me a lot about the importance of good mental health.

The above bullet points are daily actions to keep me mentally sound.

Are there habits you’ve developed to be the best you can be in all situations?

We are mental, physical, and spiritual beings and each part of our being needs to be nourished.

I agree with Clear’s opening quote.

Habits are a lifestyle.

Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
