Life Happens

We have no right to ask when sorrow comes, "Why did this happen to me?" unless we ask the same question for every moment of happiness that comes our way.

Reflection

I’ve used the opening quote several times in the past, and today it serves as a reminder to me while working through my mom’s broken hip and all the unknowns associated with it.

Life is life, and life is always going to happen.

Sometimes life is good; sometimes it’s not so good.

What we do with the good and the bad makes all the difference.

A couple of nights ago, after Super Bowl LVII, Jalen Hurts, the star quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles who lost in the final seconds to the Kansas City Chiefs, said a lot when he said, “You win, and you learn. So we intend to learn from this game.”

Please keep praying for our friend Reggie. She continues to improve and is now facing an intense rehab program to get her back on her feet.

1 Peter 5:10, “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”  (ESV)
