Never Ending Journey

Never limit your view of life by past experiences.

— Ernest Holmes —

The opening quote led me to this thought…

People who get stuck in ruts are usually living lives anchored in old beliefs of the flesh built upon past experience. This causes them to close their eyes to any hope of changing the future state of themselves and/or the world. It sounds like a place the devil likes for us to reside.

People who live their lives like a never-ending journey are usually anchored in some type of eternal belief, where past experiences are nothing more than steps taken toward even greater experiences in the future—a place where our Creator resides.

For a reason, the rearview mirror in your car was built to be about 2% of the size of your windshield. 🙂

Isaiah 43:18-19, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!”  (NIV)
