Let Go and Laugh

Sometimes the best response is to laugh and let go.

Reflection

I get a kick out of people who take their politics so seriously. If they only knew what the stress of something they can barely control is doing to their bodies.

I grew up in a family that never discussed politics. I didn’t even know my parents’ leanings until the final years of their lives — and only then because I asked out of curiosity.

We each get a vote. That’s where my attention goes. After that, no political outcome is worth my peace.

I put it all in God’s hands and trust He is guiding those in power.

Facts

Some frustrations are better released than held. Holding on drains us; letting go frees us.

And sometimes the healthiest response is to laugh, shake your head, and keep moving — especially in this political climate.
