Lent Mindset Day 46 – Silent Saturday

Whenever God seems like He’s gone silent on me and I remain obedient in His will, I’ve learned that His silence often signals His deepest work.

Reflection

On Silent Saturday, the world held its breath.

Jesus lay in the tomb.

The disciples hid in fear.

Hope felt buried with Him.

I’ve been there.

I call them my desert days.

But I’ve lived long enough to know that silence from God is not absence.

Stillness is not abandonment.

On this day, over 2000 years ago, God was at work behind the stone–preparing a resurrection that would change everything.

We often rush past the silence, but it’s in the waiting that faith is forged.
What looks like a dead end may be God’s setback for a setup for a breakthrough.

Exodus 14:14, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Thought for the Day: If you feel stuck between Good Friday’s pain and Easter Sunday’s promise, hold on. God does His best work in the dark. Trust the silence—it’s part of the story…I always write from experience.
