Reflection:
We’ve all been there—committed to change or chasing a BHAG (Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal)—and it feels like our efforts are in vain.
We pray, show up, do the right things, and keep a good attitude, but nothing seems to move. Soon, we start questioning if it’s even worth it.
Every time I set a new BHAG, I must remember the long game. We live in a world where everything is instant, but nothing great in life happens instantly.
Facts
Faithfulness is never wasted. God’s timing rarely aligns with ours, but His harvest always comes—if we persevere.
What’s remarkable is that even when it feels like nothing is happening, if we pause at any time on our new journey and look back at where we started—especially in our mindset and spirit—we’ll see progress.
One thing I’ve learned over the years: God’s view of success and growth is vastly different from the world’s.
Question:
Where are you tempted to quit? What would it look like to remain faithful for just one more day?
Thought for the Day:
List the good things you’ve been faithfully doing. What might God be growing that you can’t see yet?
God builds in silence.
Galatians 6:9, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
