The opening quote reminded me of a moment last month when I caught myself complaining—just to myself—about my workload. Then it hit me: so many people would give anything to do what I do or can’t work at all.
That shift in perspective turned my “I have to work” attitude into “I get to work.” Since then, I’ve habitually used the word “get” as a reminder of how fortunate I am to be alive, healthy, and able to do what I do.
Thought for the day…What you say reflects your mindset. Speak words of life, encouragement, and faith…especially to yourself.
Proverbs 18:21 – “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
