Leading Self With Clarity and Intention

New year, new goals, new opportunities to become a an even better version of yourself.

— Rip Miller —

Reflection:

As I often say in my leadership classes and on the Higher Leading podcast, “We all have a responsibility to lead our own lives.”

This January, my writings focus on what it takes to lead ourselves at the highest level and, in turn, to show up as our best selves, consistently and intentionally, every day.

Before goals, vision, or plans, clarity of purpose begins with taking responsibility for your life.

You can’t drift into a meaningful life; only you can be the leader of your heart, habits, and direction.

Lead yourself with intention, and follow the greatest Leader of all time (See Luke 9:23 below), and everything starts to align.

Soul Search:

  • Where am I avoiding responsibility for my own growth?
  • What would it look like to lead myself well today, this week, this month, this year?
  • What is one major shift I can make in my life to lead myself well this year?

“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” — Luke 9:23

Make 2026 your best year ever!
