Know When to say ‘NO’

You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage - pleasantly, smilingly, non-apologetically - to say 'no' to other things. And the way to do that is by having a bigger 'yes' burning inside. The enemy of the 'best' is often the 'good.

— Stephen Covey —

Reflection

The enemy of the best is often the good…

Life doesn’t complicate things, nor do the outside forces of other people, places, and things.

We make things complicated by not knowing our YES, and oftentimes, our YES is found by saying NO to those things that don’t align with who we are, what we stand for, and where we are going.

What do you need to say yes or no to?

Habakkuk 2:2, “And the Lord answered me: Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.”
