I read a lot of John Maxwell’s books and John always says, “in order to grow yourself, you first need to know yourself.”
One of my goals in life is to be at peace no matter what is going on around me. The only way I will ever come close to attaining this goal is by examining myself every time I’m not at peace.
When I’m not at peace it means I’ve allowed an external factor to penetrate my spirit, which tells me there is a chink in my armor. The only way to find the chink is by doing a fearless and moral inventory of my spirit from the inside out.
I’m better, but I’m not there yet.
Life most certainly is a journey within.
