INAPY

When you say, "It's not a problem yet (INAPY)," "it" is a problem.

The INAPY attitude has thwarted a lot of people and organizations over the years.

INAPY = It’s not a problem yet.

I remember saying, “it’s not a problem yet,” to myself several times during my drug addiction days. Even though I was hooked and powerless over chemicals, no one else knew…so it wasn’t a problem…yet.

A couple of weeks ago I knew I needed new tires on my bike but was too lazy to make the change because “it wasn’t a problem yet.”

Then “it” happened as I ended up getting a flat tire right in the heart of a city I was riding through. It was very humbling to be sitting on a street curb fixing my bike tire especially when I had packed the wrong size tube which caused me to take twice as much time to fix it.  I also ended up riding the final 10 miles of my journey at half my normal speed because of a severe “lump” the incorrect sized tube had caused to my front tire.

What problems are you ignoring because they aren’t problems yet?

And yes, I now have new tires on both of my bikes.

Proverbs 22:3, The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it.
