Idle Dreaming?

The man who talks about his experience as a Christian, who never does anything for Christ, is, I am afraid, only an idle dreamer.

— Charles Spurgeon —

Spurgeon’s quote is so true.

It made me think of how blessed Lori and I are because we get to care for God, i.e. the least of these, i.e. Jordan (our son with special needs) every day.–Matthew 25:40, “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.

It is not easy work but it makes it ever so satisfying when I know we are caring for our Lord when we are caring for our son.

What are you doing for Christ?

Matthew 5:14-16, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. “
