Holy Satisfaction

Starve your distractions.
Feed your focus.

Each week, I receive an inspirational email from Tom Ziglar. Tom is the son of the late inspirational speaker and writer Zig Ziglar.

Yesterday’s email was too good not to share…

It’s easy.

It’s easy to check out the news.

It’s easy to get on social media and see what’s up.

It’s easy to plug into the gossip and the next conspiracy.

These distractions give us a false sense of satisfaction because now we know and we get to have opinions.

These distractions also keep you from your purpose.

The distraction addiction has replaced the desire for Holy satisfaction.

What is Holy satisfaction? To know the creator and to become the person you were created to become.

Ask yourself this question: Would many of the challenges of the world be solved if enough of us woke up every day with two simple goals:

    1. Invest time today learning, growing, and developing myself into the person I was meant to be.
    2. Serving and solving problems for the people I encounter during the day.

Don’t be distracted.

Choose to Win!*

Luke 10:38-42, “Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”
