I am blessed to work with all types of “dreamers” these days. Whether it be through strategic planning sessions, life coaching, teaching business management classes, sitting on advisory boards or mentoring. In all of these various activities I am surrounded by people who want to do something more with their life. It is always amazing to me when I look in the eyes of these people and tell them, “you can do it.” These four simple words are so powerful yet seldom said to others.
I totally “get” the quote by Capote. The people I owe the most to are the ones who told me I could do it. Just because we dream and we desire to grow doesn’t mean we won’t have second thoughts and negative vibes.
It is so very important to hang with people that build you up and not bring you down.
