HabitFast Journey-Day 24-Changing the World

Relentless, repetitive, positive self talk is what changes our self-image.

HABIT

You may have noticed that I’m spending some time having you take a look at the thoughts that are flowing through your brain.  Conquering an old bad habit and/or starting a new one requires the ability to think-thoughts that are supportive of your change.

If you have trouble controlling your thoughts, take an inventory of what people, places and things you are allowing to have access to your thoughts.  Who do you hang with?  What is their self-talk like?  What books are you reading?  What shows are you watching on T.V.?

Small thinkers and small people think about everything they wish they could do to change the world.  Average thinkers and average people talk about everything others are doing to change the world.  Great thinkers and great people change the world.  If you want to change your world change your thinking and the rest will take care of itself.

Romans 12:2, “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”  (NIV)

HabitFast Journey Action Steps:

1.  Start the day-reflect, meditate, journal and prayerfully turn your HabitFast plan and day over to God.

2.  Continue the day- stay in conscience contact with God.

3.  End of day evaluation- reflect, review, journal and give yourself a grade for the day.

4.  End of day planning-review your HabitFast Plan and note your 3 “big rocks” for tomorrow.

5.  End of day prayer-place your plan, big rocks, negative triggers and tomorrow in God’s hands.
