A couple of days ago, Lori and I watched “The Eyes of the World: From D-Day to VE Day,” on PBS. What a beautifully done documentary about one of the most important stretches of time in history.
I found myself sitting in shock and awe that so many lives were sacrificed for our freedom.
I was raised to never forget, and I most certainly will never forget.
