Gratitude and Fullness

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.

— Melody Beattie —
  • Gratitude turns what we have into enough, and more.
  • Gratitude turns denial into acceptance.
  • Gratitude turns chaos to order.
  • Gratitude turns confusion to clarity.
  • Gratitude can turn a meal into a feast.
  • Gratitude can turn a house into a home.
  • Gratitude can turn a stranger into a friend.

It is impossible for me to contest any of the points made in the opening quote.

The quote’s author, Melody Beattie, is best known for her book, “Codependent No More.” There is nothing I can add to her words above other than a link for you to read more about Melody (click here). What an amazing human being.

Psalm 1:3, “He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.”

BTW…If you struggle with codependency, I suggest you purchase Beattie’s book. My wife read it many years ago…nuff said.

A – (Attitude) If you think you can achieve your dream, you will. Your ATTITUDE always determines your altitude in life.

C – (Community) Nothing great in life happens by doing it alone. The chances of realizing your dream expand as your COMMUNITY of positive mentors and peers expand.
