Gratitude and Fullness

It's a funny thing about life, once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to lose sight of the things that you lack.

When I saw the opening quote I thought about how full I felt this past Thanksgiving even though we lacked everyone with the exception of Lori, Jordan, my mom, and myself.

Gratitude fills the soul and serves as a defense to the enemy’s attempts at getting us to focus on what we are lacking…I write from experience.

I was also full from indulging in some unbelievably tasty oyster dressing. 🙂

Where and from Whom do you seek your fullness?

James 1:4, “And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
