Gratitude and Choices

Gratitude and attitude are not challenges; they are choices.

Quote Reflection

The opening quote reminded me of a life-changing nugget of wisdom I gained years ago from reading Napoleon Hill’s book, “Think and Grow Rich.”

In his book, Hill writes about the self-fulfilling prophecy. In its most basic form, the self-fulfilling prophecy means that we become the thoughts and conversations we have with ourselves.

If you think you’re a winner and talk to yourself like you’re a winner, you’ll eventually become a winner; sadly, the same goes for being a loser.

What does any of this have to do with the opening quote?

We become our choices.

Our thoughts, self-talk, attitude, gratitude, etc… are all choices.

Romans 8:28, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
