You may recall yesterday that I noted that my daily gratitude list always begins with Jesus, Health, Lori, Kids/Grandkids…on most days I note Freedom as the fifth item on my gratitude list.
I will never take freedom for granted.
I have a twofold reason for noting freedom on my gratitude list.
- Because of Christ, I’m free from the bondage of addiction.
and
- Because of an amazing idea created by our forefathers almost 250 years ago, I live in a nation that protects my unalienable rights of life, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness.
