Results and Focus

Your results are the product of either personal focus or personal distractions. The choice is yours.

— John Di Lemme —

When I saw this quote I was reminded of the scripture in Matthew 14:29-31, “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”  “Come,” Jesus said.  Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.  But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord save me!”  Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him.  “You of little faith,” Jesus said, “why did you doubt?”

Peter was walking on water and then became distracted by the wind and began to sink.

How many opportunities to “walk on water” have you missed out on due to focusing on the “wind” instead of the goal?
