If I’ve noted it once I’ve noted it a couple of dozen times in my blogs that the enemy lives in scarcity and loves to get us to think in terms of scarcity.
Our Creator lives in abundance and if we tap into Him and turn our back on the devil, we will witness abundance on a daily basis…I write from experience.
SPOILER ALERT: Be careful if your gain is only about you.
As Christ followers our gain should also be His gain.
I know a lot of people who do not have material wealth but have a ton of spiritual wealth and live abundantly. This is represented in a lifestyle where they give more than they take.
I also know even more people who have a ton of material wealth but are bankrupt when it comes to spiritual wealth. You probably know them too. They are the ones who have much to give but are too cheap to give it.
Do you live in abundance or scarcity?
Are you spiritually wealthy?
Do you give more than you take?
Mark 8:36, “Calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat; I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. Heavenly Father, Please help me live my life in abundance and not in scarcity. Also help me live in a way where the life I lead is reflective of your meaning of the word, “abundance.” May my abundance and gain always be Yours. It’s in Your Son’s name I pray. Amen.
