James 1:19…”All Wrathed Up”

Be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.

— James 1:19 —

Swift to hear…take the cotton out of your ears and put it in your mouth and listen with the intent to understand and not comment.

Slow to speak…often saves us from being jack-asses.

Slow to wrath…understanding what we can and cannot control will slow our wrath down.

Hearing clearly, speaking slowly and not getting all “wrathed” up really helps with our focus…I write from experience.
