For those of you who tried to give up something and/or create a new habit during Lent–How’d you do?
If you succeeded and feel as though you’ve grown deeper in your relationship with God…CONGRATULATIONS!
For those who didn’t succeed…DON’T GIVE UP!
Feeling like a loser because we didn’t achieve a goal is another way the enemy tricks us into beating ourselves up and giving up.
We all fail and fall short of our goals from time to time, but it is a choice on what we do with our shortfalls and failures.
Choose to fail forward.
Having a mindset of failing forward forces me to keep my eyes focused ahead of me instead of behind me.
Do you dwell on what went wrong or what to do next?
Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,â€
Heavenly Father, Please allow my failures and setbacks to be setups for greater things to come. Help me focus on what is ahead and not what is behind me. It’s in Your Son’s name I pray. Amen.
