Control and Focus

The biggest waste of focus is focusing on people, places and things you have no control over and therefore cannot change. Focus on changing you.

How often do you find yourself wasting time on things you have no control over?

Acceptance is the key to my focus these days.

What do you need to accept?

When faced with a situation you have no control over and the situation is driving you crazy, there are three options:

  1. Change the way you look at the situation.  In other words change your perspective…prayer is helpful here.
  2. Accept the situation.
  3. Move on.

All of these choices will create more focus and peace in your life…I write from experience.

Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”  (ESV)
