Fear…The Great Change Inhibitor

Fear lives in the painful memories of the past and unknown experiences of the future, taking us out of the unlimited possibilities in the present.

Reflection

Fear often hijacks our thoughts—whispering reminders of past failures or magnifying worries about what might come.

When we dwell there, we miss the gift of the present moment where God is most alive and at work.

It’s impossible to make any significant change if our mind is focused on the past or the future.

Soul Search

  • What fear from your past are you still carrying that God wants you to release?

  • How often do your thoughts drift into “what ifs” about the future instead of trusting God’s provision?

  • What step can you take today to stay present with God and embrace His possibilities?

“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” — Matthew 6:34 (NIV)
