Autumn at Serenity Acres
Reflection
Eventually, autumn’s beautiful colors disappear. What looks magnificent today will soon dissolve into nothingness as branches become bare.
Life has seasons like that too.
A job ends.
Children leave home.
Plans change.
A relationship disappears.
Something that once defined our days is suddenly gone.
Empty doesn’t necessarily mean finished.
Sometimes God clears the branches in our life before beginning something new.
Don’t confuse bare with dead.
The roots are still alive.

Where might I be mistaking emptiness for an ending?
