Reflection
For me, Easter is very personal.
It’s not just about an empty tomb; it’s about emptied chains because of the empty tomb.
There were seasons in my life when fear ruled everything: fear of being exposed, fear of failure, fear of never changing, fear of being alone, fear of the past defining the future.
Addiction thrives where fear lives.
But Jesus didn’t manage my fears; He removed them one by one.
Christ’s resurrection replaced…
…shame with grace,
…bondage with freedom,
…despair with hope.
Easter declares that what once controlled us no longer has the final word.
Because Jesus lives, fear dies, and because fear dies, we live in freedom.
John 8:36, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
1 Corinthians 15:57, “Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
He IS RISEN AND SO ARE WE!!!
