Reflection
Eight years ago, I wrote a blog about the 2018 Super Bowl Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, and their head coach and star players professing their faith in God to millions of TV viewers while being interviewed after their big win over the New England Patriots.
I was pretty pumped in that moment.
I love it when people are bold in their faith.
Since then, I’ve witnessed this several times, where professional and college athletes proclaim their allegiance to Jesus—taking advantage of their national platform.
A fear I’ve witnessed with Jesus followers is the fear of being bold in faith.
When it comes to faith in God, you are either in or out — there is no such thing as faith in-between.
Being bold in faith means we unapologetically live our lives acknowledging Him in all we do.
It doesn’t mean we judge others or look down upon those who don’t align with our beliefs it simply means…
We praise Him throughout the ups and downs of life.
- He’s the reason we win.
- He’s the reason we learn.
- He’s the reason we live.
BTW…Being bold in our faith doesn’t mean everything will go our way.
Life happens.
But if you lean on Him, He always gets us through.
I write from experience.

In what instances are you weak in your presentation of your faith when you know God is calling you to be bold?
Acts 28:31, “Proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.”
