Reflection
Fear of making a decision often leads to indecision…the exact place the enemy wants us to live.
Indecision goes nowhere and slowly paralyzes both lives and organizations.
Nike’s “Just Do It” had it right. Movement creates momentum. In doing, we discover purpose and passion.
As Zig Ziglar said, “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”
Many people delay decisions because they think they need everything figured out first. In reality, clarity often comes after we act.
When facing a major decision, try using this filter:
- Is God nudging me to go outside my comfort zone?
- Have I confirmed this with a trusted accountability partner?
- Does this align with my mission or purpose?
- Does this reflect my values and who I am?
- Does this fit my priorities and responsibilities?
If the answer is yes across the board—move.
“You don’t need more time in your day. You need to decide.” ~Seth Godin
