Faith Over Fear – Day 27 – Standing Alone

Stand for what is right even if you stand alone.

Reflection

Years ago, I challenged a close friend about behavior that clearly fell outside the bounds of integrity. Instead of listening, he asked others about the situation, and they justified his actions, making it seem as though I was the only one seeing it the way I did.

I chose to walk away from that relationship, and I have never regretted it—even though it was uncomfortable, frustrating, and disappointing.

Fear of standing alone is another fear the enemy instills in us to get us to do wrong.

Standing alone can feel intimidating, especially when conviction comes at the cost of comfort. But when you know you are doing what is right, do not be afraid to stand firm.

Better to stand alone with integrity than to blend in with compromise.

God honors courage rooted in truth.

I write from experience.
