EagleLaunch’s sole purpose for 2013 has been to ignite its readers’ passions in their lives as they focus on creating lives of purpose. This first week after our lenten journey will be focused on a real key in bringing your purpose to life and living it–FAITH. We just completed a seven week journey of whipping our fears (i.e. the devil). If you want to put fear to rest bring faith in a higher being (God) to life.
Fear is defeated by faith.
How is your faith these days? Having faith in people, places and things is not what I’m talking about. Although having faith in yourself is important, I’m not talking about that either.
I am talking about the type of faith Jesus talks about in the scripture below.
Mark 11:22-24, “Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
What “mountain” in your life do you need to throw into the sea? What is standing in the way of living your God-purpose?
Turn your “mountain” over to God and refuse to take it back, one day at a time.
