Reflection
This past Easter morning, while reading and reflecting on Matthew 28, the four words from the fifth verse-“Do not be afraid”-struck me like never before.
In that moment, I asked Google how many times the Bible tells us not to be afraid, and I found that it is mentioned in some capacity over 300 times.
On Easter morning, as Mary Magdalene and the other Mary approached the tomb, an angel greeted them with words that echo through eternity: “Do not be afraid.” (Matthew 28:5).
These words weren’t just for them—they’re for us too.
In the face of death, uncertainty, and shattered expectations, the angel pointed them to the risen Christ.
Fear loses its grip when we fix our eyes on the resurrection. Jesus conquered the grave, and with Him, we can face anything.
Back on Easter morning, I decided to devote my writings for May to fear and how we can live “Do not be afraid” lives.

When faced with a situation that stirs fear inside you, what do you do about it?
Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
