Reflection
Procrastination is a by-product of fear, fueled by a desire to be perfect, lazy, or both.
The only way to overcome procrastination is to do something…anything.
Solution
- If you are struggling with procrastination, list what you think you need to take action but aren’t. Prioritize the list in order of importance to you. Turn this list over to God daily.
- Chip away at your priorities by taking on no more than three at a time, and give yourself three months to accomplish one, two, or all three of the priorities.
- Continue the above three months at a time.
Great accomplishments are not a result of intensity as much as they are a result of consistent, daily action.
James 1:22, “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
