Winter at Serenity Acres
Reflection
Years ago, I decided to cut paths through the ten acres of woods on Serenity Acres. No drones existed then to provide an aerial view showing me where to cut and where to avoid. So what did I do? I fired up my neighbor’s DR mower and started walking. The more we walked together, the clearer the path ahead became.
Today, my dog and I enjoy those paths that never would have existed if I hadn’t taken action.
Facts
Clarity follows action, not the other way around.
When God invites you to act, hesitation clouds your direction and weakens your resolve.
Courage doesn’t require full understanding; it requires trust.
Throughout Scripture, God moved powerfully when people said yes before they felt ready.
Challenge
Today, respond to what God is already asking. Take the step you know is right, even if uncomfortable. Saying yes sharpens your faith, strengthens your confidence, and clears the fog of indecision as well as the brush, scrub, thicket, and bramble that’s blocking your path. 🙂
Soul Search
Where am I hesitating instead of obeying?
What is my next right step?
Isaiah 6:8, Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
