Reflection
The Super Bowl is in the rearview mirror, and the Milan–Cortina Winter Olympics are unfolding in real time.
If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know my focus is pretty narrow. I’m an old jock at heart.
When I watch elite athletes, my mind always drifts to their daily habits. Nobody becomes elite by accident. Greatness is built through disciplined steps taken over time.
The same is true for any pursuit worth mastering. Mental toughness is no different. It’s not a personality trait; it’s a practiced discipline.
We live with our minds every waking moment, and every day we’re shaping them to become more resilient…or more fragile.
Soul Search
What small, daily, disciplined action will strengthen my mental approach to life?
Hebrews 12:11, “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness.”
