Reflection
There is an acronym that floats around the rooms of 12 Step meetings.
The acronym is H.O.W.
A key to overcoming any addiction is the ability, to be Honest, Open-minded, and Willing.
- Honest about our situation with ourselves and others.
- Open-minded to the input from others.
- Willing to do whatever we need to do to stay sober.
Most difficulties can turn into discoveries when we utilize H.O.W.
How “H.O.W.” are you with your difficulties these days?
Philippians 4:6, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all (all means all) understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
