December Boom and Fruitful Busyness

If the devil cannot make us bad, he will make us busy.

— Corrie ten Boom —

When I saw the opening quote, I immediately thought, “The enemy most certainly knows the meaning of Advent and is currently working overtime to keep us immersed in unfruitful busyness.”

How many of us miss the true meaning of this season because we overwhelm ourselves in unfruitful busyness?

All man’s miseries derive from not being able to sit quietly in a room alone. ~Blaise Pascal

Turn Your Busyness to Fruit…

If you feel as though the busyness of this time of year is unavoidable, try carving out a few minutes each day to sit alone, connect to your Power Source, and ask Him to assist you in producing Godly fruit from your busyness.

Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

Exodus 14:14, “The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

Galatians 5:22-23, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”
