December Boom and Project Manager

And our wise Father in heaven knows when we're going to need things too. Don't run out ahead of Him.

— Corrie Ten Boom —

I believe you all know that I am a take-action kind of guy.

Years ago, my “take-action” tendencies were made evident in the many times I would “fire” before I would “ready” and “aim.” This method helped me get a lot of things done, but it also caused me to have to get a lot of things undone.

When I saw the opening quote, I thought of the “firing” sequence I currently utilize to get things done effectively:

“Pray (for the best way)–>Ready (preparation)–>Aim (plan)–>Fire (execute).”

Today, I know that my ability to complete a project successfully depends on my willingness to utilize God as my project manager.

How about you?

Romans 12:12, “And our wise Father in heaven knows when we’re going to need things too. Don’t run out ahead of Him.”

Philippians 4:6, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
