Reflection
A turning point in my life occurred the day I realized I owned nothing and that my time, talents, and treasures were on loan from God to me.
All he asks us to do is to be good stewards of His “loan.”
Good stewardship means valuing what we have and using it to bring value to others…which is impossible to do if we are unwilling to pry open our fingers.
You can’t keep what you have unless you give it away. Therefore, hold on lightly to what you have.
1 Peter 4:10, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:”
