Reflection
After experiencing a loss, that empty feeling can be overwhelming if we aren’t careful.
Some things I’ve learned after losing seven “power players” of my life over the past four years.
- Those who impact us the most fill our spirit the most.
- Although they are physically gone, their spirit lives on inside ours.
- Longing for those no longer with us physically interferes with our ability to tap in and flow with their spirit.
Memories are God’s gift to our souls.
Let them give you energy.
There is no void to fill after a loss. There is a void with memories to feel.
Find it.
Dance with it.
Celebrate it.
Live with it.
2 Corinthians 12:9, “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
