The less I think I know the more I can learn and the more I learn the more I can understand and the more I try to understand the more I can learn to love and accept others right where they are and the more I can learn to love and accept others right where they are the deeper my spirit grows and the closer I can get to God…
This comes from someone who once thought he knew it all and in turn had a very shallow spirit.
The discipline of spending time with God every morning has taught me just how little I know about life. God reveals “life” and how to handle it through His word. Part of my daily discipline involves reading the Proverb for the day and Proverbs 3 is one of my favorites.
If I can live Proverbs 3 at least 50% I will live a pretty decent life. But it all begins with my willingness to admit I know very little compared to what God wants me to know.
Amazing how much we can grow when we simply admit to ourselves how very little we really know.
