“As our need to have an “opinion” decreases, our ability to grow in wisdom and understanding increases.” ~Jay Meyer
This thought came to me as I was reading about wisdom in Proverbs 9 on April 9th.
(A great way to grow in wisdom and faith is to read the Proverb matching the number of the day of the month.)
Much strife, anguish, hate and the like derives out of human ignorance and the need for an opinion growing out of a fear-based desire of “acting like we know something.” Often, the sign of an ignorant person is someone who always has an opinion.
…been there done that…
What opinions are serving as roadblocks to your personal growth today?
Our ability to grow in wisdom is proportionate to our ability to recognize our own ignorance.
Open your mind and open your life.

Romans 14:10-13, “You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God’s judgement seat. It is written: ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.'”
