The devil loves for us to hold onto our secrets. It is the devil that fills us with fear and causes us to often turn our secrets from molehills into mountains in our brains.
We have a God who knows all of our secrets and He is also a God who wants us to turn those “secrets” over to him because he knows we release the grip of the devil when we do it.
Pray for the willingness to give whatever you are holding onto to God. If you have a trusted friend, counselor or clergy turn the secret(s) over to him or her and pray for God to give you the strength to not take them back.
If you want to tick the devil off, clean house and turn all your secrets over to God…and don’t take them back.
