The destination of the journey within is a place where love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control reside (See Galatians 5:22, The Fruits of the Spirit).
Show me a person in constant distress and conflict with his or her fellow man and/or the world and I will show you a person who has simply avoided going on an honest “journey within” where The Fruits of the Spirit are found. Like anything great in life, staying on the journey and reaching the fruits is not easy but it is through the various struggles of the journey where the fruits begin to appear and grow…if we continue to search within.
The fruits of the spirit are not only great to have “on person,” but they are also great to share with the people around you.
Shallow minds and people live shallow lives. Deep minds and people live deep and fulfilling lives.
