“The Pilgrims made seven times more graves than huts. No Americans have been more impoverished than these who, nevertheless, set aside a day of thanksgiving.” ~H.U. Westermayer
…what a sobering fact…
Please note:Â Our 3rd Thursday group is gaining momentum and will continue to meet every 3rd Thursday of the month from 6:45pm to 7:45pm…we are still open to newcomers.
As a way to celebrate the Joy of the Christmas season, the 3rd Thursday group along with our Church life group will be offering a free Christmas Dinner (Turkey with all the fixins’) on the 3rd Thursday of December. The dinner is for those who could use a nice meal and fellowship to brighten their Christmas season. We are fousing on residents from the Covington, Bradford, Pleasant Hill and West Milton areas and we will have enough food to feed 1,000 of God’s people.
If you know someone from the villages listed above and think they would enjoy a great meal, please invite them. There will be more advertising in the weeks to come.
The dinner will take place on December 20 from 4pm to 7pm at the former HealthCare Pharmacy-Grandma’s Kitchen location @ 8264 W. St. Rt. 41, Covington, OH.
GOD BLESS and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
